James Hickman, CPA, currently serves as Vice President and Controller at Commonwealth Pain and Spine since September 2024. Prior to this role, James held the position of Controller at Volare Health, LLC from November 2023 to September 2024 and served as Director of Accounting at Signature Healthcare, PLLC from August 2019 to November 2023. James has extensive experience in accounting and finance, having worked as a Senior Manager and Audit Manager at Strothman and Company and Crowe Healthcare Risk Consulting LLC, respectively. Additional roles include Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Project Manager at LG&E and KU Energy LLC, and Senior Accountant at Strothman+Co. James earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine University and a Certificate of Accountancy from the University of Louisville.
