Dustin Deforest

Dustin DeForest is a seasoned product technology and process engineer with extensive experience in the metals industry, currently serving as a Product Technology Engineer at Commonwealth Rolled Products, Inc. since December 2020. Previously, Dustin held multiple roles at Aleris and ArcelorMittal, where responsibilities included ensuring the reliability and quality of galvannealing processes for automotive parts and troubleshooting defects in continuous annealing. Early career experiences include internships at Severstal NA and US Steel, focusing on quality assurance and process optimization. Dustin holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Technology Management and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, both from the Colorado School of Mines.
