Crystal Ossolinski serves as the General Manager at the Department of Industry, Science and Resources since March 2023. Concurrently, Crystal is the Acting Assistant Secretary for Labour Market Policy and previously held the position of Director for the Domestic Demand Unit at the Commonwealth Treasury since August 2020, focusing on economic analysis and forecasting. Crystal's extensive experience includes leadership roles in various divisions at the Commonwealth Treasury, notably as Director of the Financial Services Royal Commission Taskforce and Manager of Consumer Policy. Prior to that, Crystal worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia in positions managing payments policy, domestic markets, and international markets, contributing significantly to monetary policy operations and research. Crystal holds a Master's degree in Economics from UNSW and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Western Australia, complemented by training through the ANZSOG Women in Leadership program.
