James Franze

James Franze has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. James started their career as a Customer Service Assistant at Target Australia, where they gained experience in various departments and demonstrated adaptability. James then interned as a Legal Officer at Ombudsman SA, where they conducted investigations into complaints against government departments and local councils. James also undertook a work experience placement at 9-12 Bell Yard Chambers in London, where they assisted in trial preparation and legal document drafting. James later joined the Commonwealth Ombudsman as a Public Contact Officer, handling complaints against federal government agencies. At the Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA), James held several roles, including Assistant Director of Insolvency and Trustee Services and Team Leader of Official Receiver Notices. Most recently, they have been working at the Commonwealth Treasury as Assistant Director of the Foreign Investment Division. James's roles have involved assessing and issuing notices, making timely decisions, and applying relevant legislation and guidelines. Throughout their career, they have shown strong interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, financial management expertise, and attention to detail.

James Franze completed their education with a focus on law. James attended Rostrevor College from 2005 to 2009 but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field of study there. James then pursued a Bachelor of Laws double degree at the University of South Australia from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, during the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Laws - LLB from the same institution. Finally, in 2015, they completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at The Australian National University, further advancing their knowledge in the field of law.
