Ignacio Zamora, Jr.

Ignacio Zamora, Jr. has an extensive work experience in security and protective operations. In 2018, they began their current role as Chief Security Officer at CommSafe AI, a communication analysis technology company. Prior to this, they were the Director of Threat and Vulnerability Assessment at VRS, a security consulting and training services company. From 1991 to 2018, Ignacio worked for the U.S. Secret Service in various roles, including Assistant Special Agent in Charge (Ret.), Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge, Special Agent (Presidential Protective Division), Special Agent (National Threat Assessment Center), Special Agent (Protective Intelligence Division), Special Agent - Polygraph Examiner (Forensic Services Division), and Special Agent. In these roles, they supervised protective, protective intelligence, technical security, and region-wide training operations, oversaw all protective intelligence and threat assessment investigations, contributed oversight of 24/7 Protective Intelligence Operations Center, managed personnel providing close and inner-perimeter protection to the President of the United States, directed a 2011 review and revision of White House access control policies and security procedures, integrated USSS and Department of Homeland Security strategic plans and foreign policy goals with operations, and led numerous criminal investigations.

Ignacio Zamora, Jr. obtained their Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from San Diego State University between 1985 and 1990. Ignacio then went on to pursue Graduate Studies in Forensic Psychophysiology - Polygraph Examiner at the University of Virginia. Additionally, they hold a certification in Forensic Psychophysiologist - Polygraph Examiner from the U.S. Department of Defense.
