Joanne Garrisson

Joanne has lead and influenced significant education reforms in her many and various roles within the ACT Education Directorate. Joanne has worked as a teacher, principal, director, school network leader and as Deputy Director-General Education Strategy. Her career has spanned early childhood, primary and secondary stages of schooling and policy and governance, and has included periods working in the Northern Territory and Christmas Island. Currently, Joanne works for the ACT Association of Independent Schools as a senior manager Strategic Programs.
