Bernard XAVIER currently serves as the Adjoint au Maire chargé de l'Aménagement durable, Transition écologique et Urbanisme and as Conseiller municipal délégué chargé de l’Ecologie urbaine at Ville de Longjumeau since April 2014. Additionally, Bernard XAVIER has been an Intervenant at Ionis-STM since June 2019, providing courses on Développement durable and Responsabilité sociétale des Entreprises for Master 2 students in Energy. Since July 2020, Bernard XAVIER has also held the position of Conseiller communautaire for Communauté Paris-Saclay. Earlier experience includes conducting an inventory of refrigerants at Centre Efficacité Energétique des Systèmes-Mines PARIS Tech in 2013 and working as a research and development intern at Laboratoire des Physiques des Plasmas in 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration focused on energy management from Ionis-STM and a Master in Applied Physics and Mechanics with a specialization in environmental energy from Paris-Sud University.
