Charles Beck is an experienced management consultant with a diverse background in consumer goods and retail, media, telecommunications, health, energy, process industries, and the public sector. Currently serving in a Strategy & Operations role at Commune since October 2025, Charles previously held the position of Head of Strategy at Aesop from March 2022 to October 2025. Prior to that, Charles was a Manager and Associate at Kearney from July 2015 to March 2022, where responsibilities included managing workstream teams and building client relationships. Earlier experience includes serving as a Country Economist at the International Growth Centre, managing research projects in Uganda, and teaching English language courses at EF Education First. Charles holds a Master of Science in International Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Social Science in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Cape Town.
