Mike Watson

Mike Watson has over 16 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Mike is currently working at Communication Technology Services (CTS) as the AT&T National Sales Director since June 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Technical Program Manager at CTS from February 2022 to June 2023.

Before joining CTS, Mike worked at Corning Optical Communications from May 2016 to February 2022. Mike held the position of Regional Solutions Engineer - Southeast and later became a Converged Solutions Specialist.

From May 2013 to July 2015, Mike worked at Corning MobileAccess as a Systems Engineer - Wireless. Their responsibilities included designing fiber infrastructure for indoor and outdoor DAS deployments, determining line powering requirements, and training customers on the use of fiber and fiber hardware products.

Mike's early career was at Corning Cable Systems, where they held various roles starting from November 2005 to May 2013. Mike worked as a Network/Database Administrator from November 2005 to December 2008, then became a Software Project Leader from December 2008 to October 2010. Mike later transitioned into the role of Systems Specialist from October 2010 to May 2013.

Mike Watson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Appalachian State University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including iBwave Level 2 and Level 1 from iBwave Solutions Inc., and a Certified Fiber to the Home Professional certification from the FTTH Council in 2012.
