John Stavinga

John Stavinga has held a variety of roles in the communications industry since 2012. Theircareer began with an internship at The GIANT Company as a Community and Public Relations Intern, followed by a Communications Intern role at Mercersburg Academy. John then moved on to SEI as an Operations Analyst and ASC Advisors as an Associate and Senior Associate, where they were responsible for developing and executing communication plans, managing inbound and outbound media relations, and securing placements in top-tier outlets. From 2013 to 2017, John was a Professional Athlete for the Philadelphia Phoenix. John then joined Communications Strategy Group (CSG®) as a Senior Associate, Director, Senior Director, and Vice President, driving PR strategy and campaigns based on client OKRs, raising brand awareness, and writing and editing content for multiple platforms.

John Stavinga graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Journalism - Public Relations.
