Michele McClinton

Michele McClinton joined Communities In Schools of Houston as the Director of Human Resources with 11 years of human resource management experience and 18 years in the HR space altogether. Having worked in both private and nonprofit sectors, she has comprehensive knowledge in all facets of human resources. Michele is a native Houstonian and a first-generation college graduate. She attended the University of Houston-Downtown where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, and then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management. She believes strongly in the CIS mission, and believes that “programs don’t change people, relationships do.” She has a passion for animal rescue, volunteering and fostering large dogs for a local animal rescue group.
