Jamie Cooper serves as the President & CEO of Communities In Schools of South Carolina since its formation in January 2021, following the merger of three regional organizations. Jamie is also the founder of Maluhia Global Leadership and has held various leadership roles in nonprofit organizations, including President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain and Executive Director of The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs of Greensboro. Jamie's experience in ministry includes serving as Associate Pastor for Southern Baptist Churches, focusing on youth and children's programs. An educational background includes executive education from Harvard Business School and a master's degree in Theology from Liberty University, alongside other certifications in nonprofit management from Duke University and leadership training from Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Prior career experiences include supervision at UPS and service in the US Army.
