Heather Masson-Forsythe, Ph.D., is the Co-Founder and CEO of Communitique, a social platform focused on clothes swapping to combat fast fashion and reduce the carbon footprint associated with fashion and shopping, active since September 2023. Simultaneously, Heather serves as a Content Creator for TikTok and as a Science Analyst in the Office of the Assistant Director for Computer and Information Science and Engineering at the National Science Foundation, engaged through June 2025. Additional roles include Executive Editor of the Sci on the Fly blog for AAAS, Contributing Writer for ASBMB Today, and various research and teaching positions at Oregon State University and Arkansas Children's Hospital. Holding a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Oregon State University and a BS in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas, Heather has a diverse background in science communication and policy, with a focus on AI and Computer Science.
