Barbara Kochard

Barbara Kochard serves as the Associate Executive Director of Development at Community Action Lehigh Valley, leading fundraising, marketing, and communications efforts for various programs, including the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Sixth Street Shelter. Previously, Barbara worked as an Independent Consultant for KenCrest, focusing on human resources and survey development. As the Director of Development for the American Anthropological Association, Barbara executed annual fundraising plans and managed major gift prospect portfolios. With extensive experience at KenCrest in development operations and staff management, along with roles in other organizations such as Community Music School and Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, Barbara has demonstrated a strong commitment to nonprofit development and fundraising. Barbara holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.
