Kia Burton-King

Kia Burton-King currently serves as the Family Center Manager at Community Action Pioneer Valley since September 2018, after previously holding roles as a Family Support Worker and School Liaison. Prior experience includes acting as the Title I Family and Community Outreach Liaison for Greenfield Public Schools from September 2015 to June 2018, and contributing to the Massachusetts Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA program where Kia built the "COLLEGE CONNECTIONS" college readiness program. Earlier positions included internships and assistant roles in various organizations, alongside foundational work as a dining room team member and banquet server. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and Community Youth Development & Leadership from Springfield College and an Associate's degree from Greenfield Community College.
