Kathryn Harvel

Kathryn Harvel is an experienced non-profit leader with a robust history in institutional advancement and fundraising. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the CommunityAmerica Foundation since January 2017, Kathryn has held significant roles including Senior Director of Institutional Advancement at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and Director of Major Gifts at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. With expertise in donor relationship management, gift solicitation, and fundraising strategy development, Kathryn has consulted for numerous non-profits through Harvel Consulting LLC and has previously worked in various capacities at Saint Luke's Hospital Foundation and The Moran Company LLC. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts from Park University and additional education from Kansas City University.
