Mark Sowards

Mark Sowards is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in business banking and sales management. Currently serving as the AVP - Business Banking Center Manager II at Community Banks of Colorado since August 2015, Mark has successfully managed three banking centers and driven deposit growth despite consolidations. Mark's leadership has been instrumental in recruiting and training high-performing staff, and notable achievements include exceeding small business lending goals in both 2016 and 2018, as well as winning the March Madness Campaign in 2016. Prior to this role, Mark advanced from a general laborer to National Sales Manager at Rustic Log Furniture Inc., significantly increasing retail sales. Mark’s career also includes experience as a Universal Banker at US Bank. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from Adams State University.
