Corby Brooks

Corby Brooks has extensive work experience in various industries. From 2017 to the present, they have been working as the Vice President of Information Technology at Community Based Care, LLC. Prior to this role, they held several positions at Lindley Habilitation Services from 2004 to 2017, including Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Habilitation Technician. At Lindley Habilitation Services, they were responsible for overseeing HR processes, recruiting, hiring, and enforcing staff policies and procedures for a multi-million dollar agency with over 1,200 employees. Corby also supervised the agency's recruiting and staffing efforts across five regions in North Carolina and directly supervised eight Human Resources Directors. Starting in 2006, they served as the Human Resources Director and IT Director at Lindley Habilitation Services. Prior to Lindley Habilitation Services, Corby worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at UNC Greensboro from 2004 to 2006, where they planned and implemented curriculum for undergraduate students in the Community and Therapeutic Recreation Department. Corby also worked as a Park Attendant at the City of Greensboro from 2002 to 2004.

Corby Brooks completed an MS degree in Management of Parks and Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, they studied Philosophy and Religious Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1994 to 1996. Corby also pursued Philosophy at East Carolina University from 1993 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Corby has obtained several certifications, including Foundations of Programming: Fundamentals, Leading and Working in Teams, SEO: Link Building in Depth, HTML5 First Look, and Managing Team Creativity, from lynda.com between 2013 and 2014.
