Heather Maura

Heather Maura has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Heather began their career at Biologics, Inc. in 2011 as a Human Resources Associate. During their time there, they implemented various programs and policies, conducted leadership training, and handled complex employee issues. In 2016, Heather joined McKesson as a Human Resources Advisor/Business Partner. In this role, they provided guidance and support to executive and senior leadership in multiple pharmacy locations across the country. Heather also played a key role in post-acquisition HR activities. Most recently, Heather is working as the Human Resources Director at Community Based Care, LLC, a position they started in 2019.

Heather Maura holds a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management, which they obtained from Appalachian State University from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Heather has earned certifications such as the Senior Professional of Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute in June 2021 and the SHRM-CP from the Society for Human Resource Management in January 2015.
