Mark Pompilio

Mark Pompilio has extensive experience in the media and communications field, currently serving as the Marketing Communications Public Relations Manager at Community Blood Center since 2011. Prior roles include Public Relations/Marketing Associate and PR/Marketing. Prior to joining Community Blood Center, Mark worked in television news, notably as the Primary News Anchor at WKEF/WRGT TV from 1999 to 2009 and at WLOS/News 13 from 1993 to 1998. Earlier positions included Weekend Anchor/Producer and General Assignment Reporter at WLOS-TV, as well as Sports Editor at The Mountaineer. Mark Pompilio holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Journalism from Wake Forest University, obtained between 1973 and 1977.
