Jussi Shemeikka has a long history of work experience. In 2011, they were the Vice Chairman of the British and Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland. In 2013, they founded Firmahub Oy Ltd and was the CEO. In 2014, they were the CEO of Suomen Vienninedistäjät / Finnish Export Promoters, and moved to a Non-Executive Board Member after establishing a start-up company. In 2015, they co-founded PokDok and was the CEO. In 2016, they founded SKUTTA.FI, a fresh new way of buying forest produce, and was the UK Director of Workbond. In 2017, they were the UK Partner Director of EatAndTheCity.com and the Business Development Manager of Finndeli Ltd. Since 2018, they have been the Board Member / UK Director of Kletta and, since 2022, the GM / Chairman of the Board of Kulttuurikaista Oy.

Jussi Shemeikka's education history includes completing their Matriculation examinations at Nummela High School from 1992 to 1995. Jussi then studied Business Economics at Glasgow Caledonian University from 1997 to 1998, before transferring to London South Bank University to complete their Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Finance from 1998 to 2000. During this time, they also completed an exchange program at Copenhagen Business School in 1999.
