Kaylan Szafranski

Kaylan Szafranski is a seasoned policy analyst with extensive experience in health and education sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Analyst at Community Catalyst since September 2023, Kaylan previously held the role of Director of Policy and Research at NC Child from January 2021 to July 2023. Prior positions include Policy Analyst at Legal Council for Health Justice (September 2018 - January 2021) and Manager of Health Reform at EverThrive Illinois (August 2016 - September 2018). Kaylan also contributed to the education field as a Research Assistant across various institutions from January 2015 to May 2017 and worked as an Educator and Division Head at Greensboro Montessori School for over five years. Academic credentials include a Master of Social Work and a Master of Child Development from Erikson Institute, along with a BFA in Art History and a Bachelor of Theology from Salem College.
