Kristina Farrell Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kristina began their career as a Kindergarten Teacher for the Savannah Chatham County Public School System from 2007 to 2010. Kristina then transitioned to teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) at Avalon School of English in South Korea from 2010 to 2011.
In 2012, Johnson joined The Children's Village as a Lead Teacher, where they implemented hands-on activities and educational plans for three and four-year-old students. Kristina ensured compliance with NAEYC policies and professional standards.
Johnson then joined TMX Finance Family of Companies in 2012 and held multiple roles. As a Recruiting Operations Coordinator, Supervisor, and Manager from 2012 to 2016, they managed recruiting operations and implemented various initiatives. In their role as Sr. Talent Strategy Manager, they spearheaded Store Operations initiatives for talent acquisition and managed employee referral campaigns.
From 2016 to 2023, Johnson held multiple leadership roles at TMX Finance, including Director of Talent Programs, Director of Change Management & Engagement, Director of Strategy & Process Improvement, Director of Optimization & Licensing, and Associate VP of Strategic Legal Operations. These roles involved driving strategic initiatives, managing change, and optimizing processes across the organization.
Currently, Johnson holds the position of Associate VP of Strategic Legal Operations at the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, starting in 2023.
Kristina Farrell Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy from the University of Central Florida in the years 2000 to 2005. Kristina then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Applied Ethics/Practical Philosophy from the University of North Florida from 2005 to 2007. In addition, they obtained several certifications including a Change Management Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2018, a Human Capital Strategist (HCS) certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in February 2017, and they became a Trained DiSC Facilitator through Impact Training & Development in 2015.
