Ceceila Hall-Carrington

Interim Chief Medical Officer at COMMUNITY CLINIC INC

Ceceila Hall-Carrington, M.D., is CCI Health Services’ Interim Chief Medical Officer (CMO.) Dr. Carrington oversees CCI’s clinical operations and ensures they meet the standards we set to improve health outcomes in the community and foster a positive in-office experience for patients.

A practicing pediatrician for three decades, Dr. Carrington began her career with Total Health Care, Inc., a community health center in Baltimore. In 1997, she joined Family Medical Services, P.C., where she worked for nearly ten years before opening her own practice in Silver Spring. She returned to Total Health Care, Inc., in 2006, before joining the CCI team in 2018.

Prior to her appointment as Interim CMO, Dr. Carrington served as the Health Center Medical Director for the Takoma Park health center. Her experience directing the site, coupled with her institutional knowledge of their service area and patient and participant population, makes her uniquely prepared to effectively manage the comprehensive medical services.

Dr. Carrington received her M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. She completed her residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., in 1993. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has also acted as a preceptor for several highly regarded academic medicine programs in the area, including with the John Hopkins School of Medicine.
