April W.

April W. has over 17 years of work experience in various roles and industries. April started their career in 2004 as an Intermediate Operational Auditor at Temple-Inland. In 2005, they joined Amedisys as a Staff Internal Auditor. In 2006, they moved to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, where they served as an Internal Auditor and later as a Senior Internal Auditor. In 2012, they joined Community Coffee as an Internal Audit Manager. Over the years, they held several positions in the human resources department, including Senior Manager of Benefits & HRIS, Senior Manager of Total Rewards & HRIS, Director of Human Resources, and Vice President of Human Resources. In 2022, April W. took on the role of Vice President of Strategic Analytics at Community Coffee.

April W. pursued their education at Louisiana State University. April completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Internal Audit from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, April W. has also obtained additional certifications. April became a Certified Public Accountant from the AICPA in July 2012, and later obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2018.
