Evon Walters

Evon Walters is the current Northwest Region President at Community College of Allegheny County. Prior to this, they served as President at Miller College from January 2014 to October 2015. From September 2007 to September 2013, they were the Campus CEO and Executive Dean at Suffolk County Community College. Other previous positions include Vice President for Student and Enrollment Services at Montgomery County Community College from June 2004 to September 2007 and Vice President for Student Services at Onondaga Community College from January 2001 to June 2004.

Walters began their career as a Research & Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 1989 to May 1993. Evon then served as Dean of Multicultural Affairs at Clark University from May 1993 to May 1997. After that, they became Chairperson and Assistant Professor of Education at Olivet College from May 1997 to January 2001.

Evon Walters is currently pursuing an Ed.D in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
