Lauren Thompson

Lauren Thompson, M.S. Ed, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Workforce Development at the Community College of Aurora, where responsibilities include grant proposal development, grant administration, strategic workforce planning, and budget management. Prior to this role, Lauren worked as a Concurrent Enrollment Support Specialist, providing administrative support for student services and program management. At Milwaukee Public Schools, Lauren held the positions of Site Coordinator, overseeing college and career readiness programs, and Student Advisor, assisting underrepresented students in the post-secondary enrollment process. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
