Michelle Lopez

Michelle Lopez currently serves as the Director of the Institute for Community Engagement and Civic Leadership at the Community College of Philadelphia, a position held since August 2016, following a role as Manager in the same institute. Prior to this, Michelle served as Engagement Manager at the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, where responsibilities included fundraising, volunteer management, and event coordination from October 2012 to 2016. Earlier experience includes working as the Individual and Corporate Contributions Officer at Congreso de Latinos Unidos and various roles at Beasley Broadcast Group, focusing on event management, fundraising, and broadcasting. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from Penn State University and has participated in several leadership programs, including the Urban Leadership Forum and the Latino Partnership Leadership Initiative.
