Community Connections is a unique organization because of our mission, core values, and scope of services. Community Connection’s mission is to “provide individualized customer guided supports that encourage independence, community belonging and quality of life.” Services are offered to people birth to elderly in southern Southeast Alaska. We provide early intervention for children age’s birth to three, comprehensive mental health to children and their families, services for individuals with developmental disabilities, and services for elders and adults with physical disabilities. The organization has just completed 30 years of service and now supports over 600 customers to receive the care they need to remain living and working as independently as possible.
