Jamie Melia has a diverse background in providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and survivors of sexual assault. With experience in case management, direct care, and tourist information, Jamie has developed strong communication and organizational skills. With a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Jamie currently serves as the Cape Cod Employment Services Program Manager at Community Connections Inc., overseeing all aspects of the program and liaising with funding agencies.

When an accident required her to use a wheelchair for 6 months, Donna Sabecky, our founder, became aware of the unique needs encountered by people with disabilities and the lack of adequate services to meet those needs. This awareness drove Donna to open Community Connections in 1985. The organization has grown to 8 locations for more than 800 program participants. Community Connections offers day habilitation, life skills, employment services, individual supports and transportation services. Our organization is staffed by more than 300 dedicated employees in a caring, compassionate environment that helps our employees thrive in the workplace and make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
