Allison Guerrero

Allison Guerrero is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in special education and English language arts. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher with Community Consolidated School District 181 since August 2016, Allison holds roles as a case manager, resource teacher, and co-teacher across various subjects, while also leading small groups in math and language arts. In addition to teaching, Allison acts as the team leader for the 8th grade, coordinating activities and managing the team budget. Prior experience includes contributions to the Common Core Committee in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District #202, teaching English, coaching women's softball, and leading curriculum development. Allison's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Concordia University Chicago and a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Language Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
