Ashley Robertson has a diverse work experience ranging from education to recreation. Ashley started their career in 2009 at the Champaign Unit 4 Schools, where they worked as an ACTIONS Teacher and later as a Special Education Teacher until 2017. In 2010, they joined Champaign Urbana Special Recreation as the Director of Teen and Young Adult Camp and as an Adult Program Leader until 2015. In 2017, they moved to the Community Consolidated School District 59, initially working as the Coordinator of Social Emotional Learning and Student Equity, and later taking on the role of Director of Social Emotional Learning in July 2019.
Ashley Robertson obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Special Education/Elementary Education with a concentration in Spanish from Eastern Illinois University. Ashley completed their undergraduate studies between the years 2002 and 2008. Later, between 2010 and 2012, they pursued a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.
