Julie Sands

Julie Sands is an experienced professional in crisis services and behavioral health, currently serving as a Quality Assurance Specialist at CommUnity Crisis Services since July 2020. In this role, Julie rigorously evaluates the interactions of National Suicide Prevention Lifeline counselors, providing monthly feedback aimed at enhancing crisis response skills. Previous experience includes working as a Disaster Distress Helpline Worker, where active listening and empathy were paramount, and as a Prevention Specialist at Prelude Behavioral Services, focusing on grant compliance and progress reporting.
