Sara Barth has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2003, they worked as an Americorp member at Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County. From 2005 to 2010, they served as an Office Manager at The Housing Fellowship. In 2010, they became an Organizer for the Liz Sleichter Benefit. Sara then joined Pearson Education in 2010 as a Senior Event Manager and worked there until March 2022. In March 2022, Sara started working as the Director of Support Services at CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank. Additionally, they volunteered as a VIP Hospitality and Performer Coordinator at Summer of the Arts in 2016. Despite their various roles, Sara's most recent position shows their leadership and dedication to supporting individuals in crisis and providing food security.
Sara Barth attended the University of Iowa from 2000 to 2003 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Social Change. Sara also has some experience at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, but their degree and field of study are unknown.

When any situation has become too difficult for you to cope with alone, we can help. Everyone at CommUnity Crisis Services is passionate about treating those in crisis as valuable human beings. CommUnity provides immediate support through our Crisis Intervention, Food Bank & Emergency Assistance, and Community Intervention Programs. These services include a 24-hour crisis line, crisis chat and text, mobile crisis outreach, a food bank, several mobile pantry sites, emergency assistance, and training.
