Charles Mickens

Charles Mickens currently serves as the Director of Student Support Services at Ave Maria University, a position held since November 2021, where strategies are developed to enhance student outcomes, engagement, and retention. Previously, Charles held multiple roles at Ave Maria University, including Director of the Summer Leadership Program and Student Support Services Advisor, and worked with Sports Club Naples as the Director of a Child Care Facility, focusing on safety and child enrichment activities. Charles’s career began with various positions at Ave Maria University as a work-study student and athlete, and included roles at Milam’s Market and Poké 305. Charles is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Higher Education Administration at Louisiana State University, having previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ave Maria University.
