Emily Wyffels has extensive experience in leadership and program development within the nonprofit and education sectors. Currently serving as Chief Administrative Officer and previously as Chief Program Officer at The Community Group since July 2016, Emily has held several strategic roles including Strategic Director for Child Care Services and Director of Professional and Program Development. Prior to this, Emily worked as Director of Operations in Residence at UP Education Network and as Business Operations Manager at KIPP New Orleans Schools. Other positions include Communications Lead at Cisco and Communications Associate at Positive Coaching Alliance. Emily's early career involved service with AmeriCorps*National Civilian Community Corps and coaching women's soccer at Cornell University. Emily earned a BS in Engineering from Cornell University and has undertaken further studies at Harvard Extension School and Stanford University.

The Community Group (TCG) is a private, nonprofit organization creating opportunities through education since 1970. TCG manages a range of programs, including a network of early childhood and out-of-school time programs, a network of charter and district public schools, consulting and training programs, and a child care resource and referral program, Child Care Circuit.
