Chanaka Gunawardena

Chanaka Gunawardena is an experienced professional with a strong background in infrastructure architecture and project management. Currently serving as an Infrastructure Architect and Projects Manager at the Community Development Authority since January 2015, responsibilities include designing and implementing strategic infrastructure plans and establishing service level agreements. Previously, Chanaka held positions at Cyquent Technologies LLC, first as a Managing Consultant overseeing IT projects and client satisfaction, and as an Infrastructure Consultant focused on various Microsoft technologies. Experience also includes a role as a Microsoft Specialist at Mubadala Development Company, where analysis and best practices for SCCM and SCOM were emphasized, and as a Systems Engineer at Millennium iT, identifying customer needs and proposing Microsoft-based solutions. Chanaka holds a Master of Science in Computer Network Management from Middlesex University and has additional qualifications from the British Computer Society and Vidyartha College Kandy.
