Tansley Stearns

Tansley Stearns is an experienced executive in the credit union industry, currently serving as president and CEO of Community Financial Credit Union since June 2022. Prior to this role, Tansley held various leadership positions at Canvas Credit Union, including chief operating officer and chief people & strategy officer, from August 2018 to June 2022. Tansley also worked as chief marketing & strategy officer at Public Service Credit Union for a brief period in 2018. From 2012 to 2018, Tansley contributed to the Filene Research Institute as chief impact officer and director of innovation & applied research, and earlier experience includes roles at Bethpage Federal Credit Union and Connex Credit Union focused on strategy and member services. Tansley's career began at BestSource Credit Union, where oversight of sales and service strategies was a key responsibility. Tansley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan, obtained in 1998.
