Jayme Powell

Jayme Powell currently serves as the Executive Director for the Detroit Regional Workforce Partnership at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, a position held since December 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Director, Education & Employment and holding various roles at the Rocket Community Fund from September 2016 to December 2023. As Co-Founder of Youth Advancement Through Athletics from January 2011 to November 2017, Jayme Powell has also contributed as a Prevention/PBIS Coordinator for the Detroit Youth Violence Prevention Initiative between May 2014 and January 2016. Additional experience encompasses serving as an Education Policy Fellow at the Institute for Educational Leadership and as an Adjunct Instructor for the Adolescent Diversion Project at Michigan State University. Jayme Powell holds both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work from Michigan State University, earned between 2008 and 2014.
