Sarah Baltman Wedepohl

Sarah Baltman Wedepohl has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Most recently, they held leadership positions at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. Sarah served as the Vice President of Program and as the Director of Health and Human Services Initiatives. Prior to that, they were the Director of Health Initiatives and also worked as a Senior Program Officer at the foundation.

Before their time at the Community Foundation, Sarah worked as a Project Consultant at JFM Consulting Group, where they led evaluation, planning, and community engagement projects in various sectors. Sarah also had a role as an independent contractor, providing management and programmatic planning for organizations such as the Michigan Public Health Institute and The Guidance Center.

Sarah's earlier experience includes working as a Project Analyst at the Detroit Newspaper Agency, where they were honored with the Edge for Excellence Award. Sarah also worked as a Research Analyst at RESEARCH DATA ANALYSIS INC and as a Program Supervisor and Research Assistant at Starfish Family Services.

Throughout their career, Sarah has shown a dedication to community engagement, equity, and improving the quality of life in the sectors they have worked in.

Sarah Baltman Wedepohl attended Wayne State University from an unknown start year to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Sarah then attended the University of Michigan from 1996 to 1997, earning a Master of Social Work degree in Social Work.
