Kristi Knous

Kristi Knous, MPA, CAP, has extensive experience in donor relations and child advocacy. At the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, Kristi held the position of Vice President, Donor Relations and Community Investment from April 2002 to July 2011, where responsibilities included overseeing a comprehensive donor relations initiative and directly assisting donors with their charitable goals. Prior to this role, Kristi worked at Blank Children's Hospital from October 1992 to March 2002 as a Child Advocate and Child Life Specialist, contributing to the hospital's recognition with the Outstanding Advocacy Award and focusing on family-centered care and public policy advocacy. Kristi earned a Master of Public Administration in Executive Leadership from Drake University and a Bachelor of Science in Growth and Development of Children from Iowa State University.
