Karla Thomas

Karla Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning across different organizations and roles. Karla started their career as the Director of Human Resources at the Erie County Water Authority in 2005 and held this position until 2008. Following this, they served as the Commissioner of Human Resources for the City of Buffalo from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, Karla worked as the Assistant to the Minority Leader at the Erie County Legislature. Their most recent role was as the Director of Community Outreach at the Community Health Center of Buffalo, which they joined in 2015.

Karla Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Masters of Arts Organizational Leadership, which they obtained from Medaille University. Karla attended the university from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Development and Training at Medaille University from 1991 to 1993.
