Amanda Pyper has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health. Amanda has held roles such as Associate Director Behavioral Health at Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc., Psychotherapist in Private Practice at Amanda Pyper LMFT, and Intensive Mental Health Therapist at Santa Ynez Valley Special Education Consortium. Prior to these positions, they served as a Behavioral Health Manager at CenCal Health, Regional Manager at the County of Santa Barbara's Department of Behavioral Wellness, and MH Clinician at Cottage Health. Amanda also worked as a Regional Manager at the County of Ventura, where they developed centralized screening and referral programs, managed a large adult mental health clinic, and reorganized the county crisis team. In addition, they gained experience as a Program Manager at Casa Pacifica, where they developed and managed the Children's Mobile Crisis Team, and as a Mental Health Therapist at Hathaway-Sycamores Child & Family Services, providing therapy to seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents.
Amanda Pyper earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge in 2007-2008. Amanda also obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Nelson Mandela University in 1995-1996.
