Alicia Harris

Alicia Harris is an experienced educator currently serving as a High School Science Teacher at Community High School District 128 since August 2019. Harris also holds a position as a Student Teacher in the Richland School District One, where observation and assistance in Honors Chemistry courses were complemented by the creation of a five-day unit on chemical bonds. With a strong background in aquatic safety, Harris has worked as a Lifeguard at the University of South Carolina Campus Recreation since September 2017, while also overseeing pool operations as an Aquatics Manager for Arlington Heights Park District since June 2011. Additional experience includes tutoring with Communities In Schools of the Midlands and serving as a Peer Leader for the University 101 Program at the University of South Carolina. Harris holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
