Christopher Mott is a dedicated high school science educator with extensive experience in teaching Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Currently serving as a High School Science Teacher at The Beacon School since September 2013, Mott emphasizes laboratory experiences, project-based learning, and scientific curiosity in the classroom. Prior to this role, Mott taught at Landmark High School for 12 years, where coursework was influenced by the principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools. Mott has also presented on key educational initiatives, including the New York Experience program and graduation exhibitions, showcasing a commitment to immersive learning. Mott holds a Master's degree in Chemistry Education from Hunter College and dual Bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
