Dennis Duffy

Dennis Duffy serves as the President of the D128 Teachers Union, representing over 275 faculty members at Vernon Hills and Libertyville High Schools, and has been a High School Social Studies Teacher at Community High School District 128 since January 2005. Duffy is certified to teach World History, US History, Government, and various electives, while also coaching the Mock Trial Team and Lincoln-Douglas Debate Team. Duffy's leadership experience includes previous roles as President of the Lake County Federation of Teachers and the Libertyville/Vernon Hills High School Teacher's Union Council. Duffy holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
