Dr. Neil Lesinski serves as the Superintendent of Community High School District 155 since July 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Lesinski was the Principal at Cary-Grove Community High School from June 2017 to August 2024 and held the position of Director of Curriculum and Assessment within Community High School District 155 from July 2016 to June 2017. Dr. Lesinski's career also includes significant experience at Lakes Community High School, where responsibilities included English Department Chair, English Teacher, and Career and Technical Education Department Chair from 2010 to 2016. Dr. Lesinski earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Aurora University (2016-2021), a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Chicago (2011-2013), and a Bachelor's in Education from Western Illinois University (2005-2009).

Niche.com ranked D155 as the best school district in McHenry County. The district covers 67.75 square miles and is located approximately 45 miles northwest of Chicago in McHenry and Lake counties.
