Trey Breeden, CAPM, currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Technical Program Manager at Community High School District 155 since April 2003, where responsibilities include developing and implementing technology standards aligned with educational objectives and leading infrastructure and data services. Previously, Trey held the role of Technology Integration Specialist, coordinating with faculty to evaluate and develop hardware and software standards. Trey has prior experience as a Systems Administrator at Eltek Energy from 2000 to 2003 and as a Technical Sales Associate at Stewart Superior Corp from 1994 to 1997. Trey also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal from August 1988 to August 1992. Trey holds a Leadership Certificate in Information Technology from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Springfield.

Community High School District 155 includes four comprehensive high schools and one alternate education campus serving over 5,500 students in grades 9-12. All four District 155 high schools ranked in the top eight percent of public high schools nationally by U.S. News & World Report in 2022, which identifies the superior education our students receive. Niche.com ranked D155 as the best school district in McHenry County. The district covers 67.75 square miles and is located approximately 45 miles northwest of Chicago in McHenry and Lake counties.
