Wendy Crews currently serves as a Community Relations Representative at Community Hospice & Palliative Care, a role held since March 2019, where event planning and mission execution are primary responsibilities. Additionally, Wendy has been a Health Care Educator at Florida Gateway College since October 2007. Previous experience includes serving as Area Supervisor for Lake City Operations at Excelsior Ambulance Service from October 2015 to December 2018, overseeing employees and operations in the region, and working as a Training Officer at Century Ambulance Service from September 2007 to January 2013. Wendy's career also includes significant time at Clearwater Fire Department as an EMS Shift Supervisor from January 1986 to May 2007. Wendy holds an Associate of Science degree in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from St. Petersburg College and pursued education at the University of Florida.
