Janelle Scheffelmaier

Janelle Scheffelmaier, MA, CAPM, serves as an Instructional Designer at St. Luke's Health System since June 2022, where responsibilities include coordinating with subject matter experts to assess training needs and developing various learning materials using the ADDIE process. Previously, Janelle worked as the Training Operations Coordinator and Training & Exercise Specialist for the Idaho Office of Emergency Management from January 2020 to June 2022, focusing on training opportunities for emergency responders. Janelle has also held positions as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Dawson Community College, Training & Preparedness Coordinator at Dawson County Health Department, and Teacher at Dawson County High School. Starting a career in public health with Cascade City-County Health Department, Janelle progressed through several roles in preparedness and training. Academic achievements include degrees from Naval Postgraduate School, Western Governors University, Norwich University, and the University of Montana.
